How to open a Jupiter business account

Opening a Jupiter business account takes about ten minutes online and is usually approved within one business day. You will need - Your company registration number (Companies House) or, for sole traders, your UTR - A photo ID for every director or person with significant control (passport or driving licence) - Proof of business address dated within the last three months - The email address and mobile number you will use to log in Steps 1. Choose Open an account on the website and enter your company details. 2. Add each director and beneficial owner; we send them a link to verify their identity. 3. Confirm your business activity and expected monthly volume. 4. Read and accept the account terms. We review most applications within one business day. If we need more information we email you from team@agentify.finance; check your spam folder if you have not heard from us.

Which documents do you accept for verification?

Identity (one of): current passport, UK or EEA driving licence, national identity card. Proof of business address (one of, dated within 3 months): bank statement, utility bill, HMRC letter, lease agreement. Company documents: we fetch your incorporation details from Companies House automatically. Partnerships and charities send us the partnership agreement or governing document. Photos must show the full document with all four corners visible. Screenshots of online statements are fine if they show your name, address and the date.

Inviting team members and setting their roles

Go to Settings → Team → Invite. Each person gets an email invitation and sets up their own login and two-factor authentication. Roles - Owner – full control, including closing the account. There must always be at least one owner. - Admin – everything except closing the account and changing owners. - Finance – make and approve payments, manage cards, export statements. - Viewer – read-only access to balances, transactions and statements. You can change a role or remove a person at any time from the same page. Removing a person cancels their cards immediately.

Closing your account

Only an owner can close the account: Settings → Account → Close account. Before closing, withdraw your balance to another account in the company name, cancel direct debits and standing orders, and download your statements; they remain available for 30 days after closure. There is no closing fee. If a refund or dispute is still open, we keep the account in a read-only state until it settles.
