When you send money in a currency other than GBP, Jupiter shows you the exchange rate, our margin and the exact amount the recipient receives before you confirm.
- Our margin is 0.5% above the interbank rate for EUR and USD, and 0.9% for other currencies.
- The rate is locked for 30 seconds once quoted.
- Card payments abroad use the rate at the time the merchant settles, usually within two days, with the same margin.
You can hold EUR balances in a EUR account with its own IBAN, which avoids conversion on incoming euro payments.
